Practitioner registration is awarded to individuals who can demonstrate the specified knowledge and professional application competences. The document, SENr Guide to Registration 2017 details the competences required of registrants in Sport and Exercise Nutrition. The Appendix 2 – Practitioner Registration provides a overview of this level of SENr registration. The document SENr-Competency Framework 2017 details the competencies that must be met.
We have also developed an online module: SENr: A Guide to Registration to take you through the portfolio development process.
All applicants should have achieved a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. A list of providers can be found here. This is not exhaustive but does offer guidance / a starting point.
Practitioner applications should be sent to Rosanna Hudson email@example.com
The SENr Board has debated at length the option to allow special dispensation to those who do not possess postgraduate nutrition qualifications but can demonstrate many years sports nutrition experience. The final decision of the Board is that the qualification requirements must stand. Graduate Registration will only be approved once a sports and exercise nutrition postgraduate diploma has been achieved. Practitioner Registration cannot be applied for until this qualification requirement has been met.
